Mark A. Stevens is a lawyer/professional engineer with over 40 years of experience in the environmental industry.
B.A. Brandeis University (1971); MSc. Eng. Washington State University (1976); post graduate research University of Manitoba (1976-1978); J.D., cum laude, Temple University (1987).
Beginning in 1978, Mr. Stevens was a Project Manager and Technical Consultant, both at a consulting firm and in-house. He assisted clients in complying with environmental regulations that for the first time focused strongly on toxic and hazardous substances.
Mr. Stevens began practicing environmental law in 1987, and is a founder of Langsam Stevens Silver & Hollaender (1995) at which he continues to represent clients, including large industrial companies, real estate developers, municipalities and small business owners. Over several decades in the environmental industry, Mr. Stevens has gained extensive experience in solid and hazardous waste matters, including remediation of contaminated sites, management of industrial wastes and wastewater, impacts on real estate, implications for lending, and resolving environmental issues in bankruptcies. Mr. Stevens continues to be involved in environmental litigation and administrative matters in local, state and federal forums.
